Story poles have been set up at the Burlingame Train Station to show residents the height of the elevated train tracks planed for the High Speed Rail system. The orange mesh gives a good visual how the tracks clearly will divide our town. The 59 feet high cables indicate where the electric cables will run. The story poles will remain in the parking lot at the intersection of California Drive and Burlingame Avenue until Thursday, October 21. Take a look and you will understand why Burlingame residents are upset.
