Barneson Place in San Mateo a big success
0 Comments Published by chrismolnar October 26th, 2008 in Buyer Tips, Neighborhoods, San Mateo. by chrismolnarThe beautiful new 10 townhome community in San Mateo called Barneson Place has been well received. This was our second weekend to be open to the public and 4 homes have been sold. Buyers started arriving at 11AM and we finally closed the doors at 6:30PM today. This confirms that even in a challenging market, there is always room for a quality product. All floor plans have 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and attached garages. Buyers love the beautiful kitchens, master suites, high ceilings, hardwood floors and design colors throughout. If you are looking for a quality townhome in the Baywood/Arragon school district, make sure you stop by this week. Prices start at $895,000 – $ 949,500. The sales office is located at 80 Barneson Ave in San Mateo and is open from 11AM-6PM every day. For pictures and floor plans go to: www.barnesonplace.com
One bedroom condo in Belmont priced at $ 321,900
0 Comments Published by chrismolnar October 13th, 2008 in Belmont, Buyer Tips, Neighborhoods. by chrismolnarThere is a new condo for sale at the 400 Davey Glen Road complex in Belmont. Priced at $ 321,900 with a remodeled kitchen, this unit is a great opportunity for first time home buyers. These condos with comparable up-grades sold last year for $ 400,000. Only two one-bedroom condos have sold at Davey Glen all year. Several units have been pulled off the market and probably have been rented. All units have a balcony and an assigned parking space in the underground garage. Unfortunately pets are not allowed here and laundry rooms are only located on every other floor.

Despite the financial crisis, funding is still available in San Mateo county
2 Comments Published by chrismolnar October 5th, 2008 in Buyer Tips, Neighborhoods. by chrismolnarQualified buyers should not be discouraged by the daily news about the financial crisis. Loans are available and lenders are able to close deals within a few weeks. Representatives from Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Borel Private Bank and Princeton Capital spoke to several agents in my office last Friday and assured us that credit is available to home buyers. Finding you that special home in the neighborhood of your choice, might be much more difficult.
