Mortgage Crunch effects Burlingame market
0 Comments Published by chrismolnar August 15th, 2007 in Burlingame, Seller Tips. by chrismolnarReading this week’s headlines about the mortgage crunch, one is not surprised that even our local Burlingame market is effected. There are plenty qualified home buyers out there who want to move to Burlingame but we need new, fresh inventory. Sellers are holding back thinking this is not a good time to list. If you are thinking of selling your home, drop by any of the open houses this weekend and listen to how frustrated buyers are with the low inventory. As of today we have only 27 single family homes listed. This includes 6 homes carried over from last year. In this market there is no room for overpricing your property or not marketing your property correctly. I have clients who have been looking for that special new home since last fall and quite frankly there has not been much to show them. So I say thank you to the owner of 1520 Los Montes Dr for giving us at least one new property to look at this week!
